A package for a priest
After dinner, Alfons went through the books in the house, pulling together a collection for Edward to take over to Father von Lichten later. He wrote out a note, in German, naturally, and sealed it into an envelope, putting it in the bag with the books and the sole DVD included.

Here are the books I promised. I apologize; most of the volumes I've been able to obtain are either the English translation, or were originally written in English. The German translations are harder to come by, as more of them are out of print. I stacked them in a topical order, but of course, you are free to begin wherever you wish. I do suggest saving the DVD for when you are finished, as it should make you feel at least somewhat better about being German. I know it did for me. If you do not have a means of playing it, ask us.
As far as other matters go, you say your life's purpose is to help people? Well, I can recommend at least one person off the top of my memory who could probably use some, as from what I have heard, she is in a rather bad way. The alternate of my sister-in-law, Delilah Elric. She is employed as a singer at the Best Deadly Sin, but if she has not yet started work, you can still find her through Roy Mustang, who also works there.
